Looks like HBO is trying to fill the void left by The Sopranos by introducing a racy new series called "Tell Me You Love Me." Cynthia Mort, the creator and former writer on Rosanne, wonders why people are making such a big deal about the sex scenes. I have a pretty good idea why...
The first episode will supposedly end with a a woman masturbating her husband to orgasm, with the entire act and all relevant body parts plainly visible.
Sounds like HBO is trying to make a plot driven porn that involves real relationships instead of pizza boys delivering "sausage" pizzas to scantly clad women. Will it work? Will it even make it on the air?
I can't say I'm offended by it. HBO shows enough murder, rape, and sodomy in many of their other shows, so why not show some good old fashioned sex as well ?
